Data Deletion
How to have your data removed — including anything we obtained from a connected social account — what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
Tensvia LLC · Effective September 25, 2026 · Last updated September 25, 2026
1.The short version
You can have your Tensvia data deleted at any time. Email privacy@tensvia.com from the address on your account, or from inside the product disconnect the account and ask us to delete. We verify the request, delete your data, and confirm when it is done.
2.Which situation are you in?
You are a Tensvia customer — a business with a Tensvia account. You can delete your whole account, or just the data from one connected channel. See sections 3 and 4.
You messaged a business that uses Tensvia — you are a customer of one of our customers. That business, not Tensvia, controls your information. Contact them first; they decide what happens to it, and we act on their instructions. You can still write to us (section 7) and we will help them respond.
3.Delete data from a connected social account
This section is for data Tensvia obtained from a social platform you connected — Facebook Pages, Instagram, and similar. There are two steps, and you can do either on its own.
- Disconnect the account. In Tensvia go to Integrations, find the connected channel, and remove it. From that moment Tensvia can no longer reach that account or receive new messages from it. You can also revoke access from the platform's own settings — for Meta, at facebook.com/settings → Business Integrations.
- Delete what we already stored. Disconnecting stops future access but does not by itself erase messages already in your inbox. To have those removed, email privacy@tensvia.com and tell us which account. We delete the stored conversations, contacts, and any identifiers we received from that platform.
If you arrived here from a social platform's app settings, this is the page they pointed you to — step 2 is the one that erases stored data.
4.Delete your entire account
Email privacy@tensvia.com from your account address and ask us to delete the account. Before you do, you may want to export your data — ask in the same email and we will provide it first.
5.What gets deleted, and the few things that do not
When you delete, we remove:
- Conversations and message content on your connected channels.
- Contact records and the identifiers tied to them.
- Drafts, approvals, bookings, and business facts you supplied, such as uploaded documents and media.
- Connected-account credentials and tokens.
A small number of things are kept, and only for a reason the law or your own protection requires:
- Opt-out and suppression records. If a contact asked not to be messaged, we must remember that even after deleting the rest, because honouring an opt-out permanently requires keeping it. This is the minimum needed to keep the promise.
- Billing records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security and audit logs are retained for a limited period — a log you have already deleted cannot tell you what happened if something later goes wrong.
6.How long it takes
We aim to acknowledge your request within five business days. Where you have deleted an account, we remove Customer Data within 30 days, after any export window you asked for. If a request will take longer for a specific reason, we will tell you why.
7.Where to send requests
